It really bothers me so much that nowadays the media no longer have to carry any kind of responsibility whatsover when it comes to what they report. They label people before any proof is found, before investigation is completed (even before the police start investigating I suppose), before anybody who remains alive knows what went wrong. They go and give people names and labels, that appear in the boldest font on front pages. It might not be that wrong if you make subtle hints in the article, but no, there's no need to be subtle anymore. Just assume anything you want. Give people labels before truth prevails. They're silenced forever anyways, and everybody else are happy seeing others' ugliest side, nevermind the truth. While the wife and the kid are powerless. What can they do? They're too afraid to let their faces be shown, and what have they done wrong. They can't ask for sympathy, and nobody's willing to give them any.
Now who has the right to call other people evil? The money maker who sell papers?

Eurovision is my little new found interest. It's interesting to see Finland defining this as pop, Germany chooses this band as their representative, while Slovenia has a massive tune to represent them. I've only heard a few samples from the representatives, but my favorite so far is still Plan B by Slovenia's Anzej. You can download the song, both in English (translated and now called Mr. Nobody) or in Slovenian, but trust me, the original Slovenian 'Plan B' is so much better than the English version (which you may call the lyrics a joke), even though I don't understand any part of the original. Some Lily Allen updates - she has a new tune posted on her page called Shame For You. Check it out, it's as equally fantastic as her other songs. A bit dark, a bit crunky, but in the same adorable fashion that's uniquely Lily's.
Pink's I'm Not Dead album has leaked. From what I hear, it's not a bad album, as much as I hate Pink. Well when she's working with Max Martin, Linda Perry and the likes you can't get a bad album really. U & Ur Hand is Since U Been Gone and the Veronica's 4ever mash-up. "I'm not here for your entertainment/ you don't really wanna mess with me tonight", how original is that. Cuz I Can is a surprisingly good track. So everybody's trying to sound like Kelly Clarkson now - how many Kelly Clarkson can music buyers take?
On the contrary, I totally adore Carrie Underwood. She's such a sweetheart, and her new video "Don't Forget To Remember Me", although cheesy as hell, there's something about Carrie that I really like. Maybe there's no such thing as innocence in today's music industry, but when she can release songs like that with a video that's so not hip by today's standards, I credit her for not trying to be the next Kelly.
It's the end of this seasons' The Apprentice. Honestly it's starting to become boring (for quite a while), but it's still my favorite reality show out there. Rebecca totally deserves to win, I think. Project Runway's making its premier in Hong Kong next week, and I can't imagine how seeing designers' fight among themselves can get any more interesting than seeing models fight. Oh well. Reality shows are boring, and I can't believe they're all making prime time weekend slots.
Where did all our creativity go? Six Feet Under can be Pearl's next hope - but I wonder when they'll air season IV. It's about time already. Don't they know Region 1 DVD has been released last year August in USA, and even season V is being released this week?
